Three people are dead and a fourth is hospitalized after a violent two-vehicle collision on Mooresville Road late Saturday night in Salisbury, according to police. Officers arriving at the scene found one mangled vehicle with multiple critically injured occupants, and two people were pronounced dead on the spot. As reported by WBTV, the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Saturday when two cars collided on Mooresville Road (N.C. 150). Officers found three people in one of the vehicles with severe injuries; two died at the scene, and a third who was airlifted later died from those injuries. The second vehicle left the roadway and ended up in a nearby creek bed. With help from a K-9 unit, officers located the driver and arrested 42-year-old Javier Sola, who is charged with three counts of felony hit-and-run involving serious injury or death, Salisbury police said.
