An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a late-night crash in Muskego yesterday, after his bike collided with a van near Woods Road and Parkland Drive. Police said first responders arrived at about 11:21 p.m.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Muskego Police Department, the motorcycle was traveling east when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound van. The rider suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead, while the van’s driver, a 48-year-old man, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and later released, FOX6 News Milwaukee reported.
Investigation and response
Muskego police said the crash remains under investigation as detectives work to determine what caused the motorcycle to cross the center line. Crews from the Tess Corners Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene, and no arrests have been announced.
