A quiet home on Seahorse Drive became the focus of a Houston police investigation Monday night after a 38-year-old man was found dead inside, with a wound to the back of his head.
Officers were called to 16242 Seahorse Drive around 9:35 p.m., where they found the man in his bedroom with a laceration to the back of his head. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

According to the City of Houston Newsroom, HPD patrol officers initially responded to the address Monday night. The case has been assigned to Homicide Division Detectives L. Jumonji and A. Hernandez and is logged under incident number 095221526.
Autopsy and identity verification
The man’s identity and official cause of death are still pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, which is handling the autopsy and related forensic testing. Officials note that autopsy and toxicology results can take several days, depending on what tests are ordered.
