New Braunfels is about to get a new neighborhood stop for espresso, smash burgers, fresh pastries and a little grocery browsing. Ollie's Market, a San Marcos-born cafe and market, is opening its second location this fall at Midtown Mayfair.
Founded by Natalie and Eli Zablosky, Ollie's Market opened its first location in San Marcos in August 2025 and is now expanding into New Braunfels. The move was announced Thursday in Community Impact, which described the business as a family-owned operation focused on locally sourced food and drinks.
A Cafe-Market Menu With Burgers And Matcha
The Midtown Mayfair location is expected to offer bread and pastries baked in-house daily, a fresh deli grab-and-go selection, made-to-order salads and smash burgers. Customers will also find espresso and matcha beverages, along with beer, wine and mixed drinks, while the menu rotates seasonally.
That combination gives Ollie's a slightly broader lane than a standard cafe: part quick breakfast stop, part lunch counter and part small neighborhood grocer. The company's official website says the business is built around local sourcing, independent ownership and food inspired by how the founders eat at home.
Ollie's Joins Midtown Mayfair's Growing Retail Hub
Ollie's is also arriving as Midtown Mayfair takes shape as the commercial and gathering center of the large New Braunfels development. The City of New Braunfels says Mayfair is being developed by Southstar Communities across approximately 2,400 acres.
Southstar has described Midtown Mayfair as the community's signature retail and recreation district, with future phases planned to include shops, restaurants and additional gathering spaces. The developer's January 2025 update said the first phase was scheduled to open in summer 2026, making Ollie's fall arrival part of the district's next wave of food and beverage activity.
Southstar CEO and President Thad Rutherford said Ollie's represents the kind of “locally rooted” business envisioned for Mayfair, according to Community Impact. A specific opening date has not been announced, but the company says the New Braunfels shop is planned for this fall.
