OX-B's, the Newark-born chicken chain that got its start serving wings out of a shipping container, is spreading its sauce-soaked empire to 7370 Sawmill Road in a small plaza just east of Dublin. The planned restaurant would mark the brand's ninth local location and push its footprint into northwest Columbus after a busy run of openings across central Ohio. The company has not yet announced when the Sawmill Road spot will open.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, OX-B revealed the Sawmill Road site on social media and described it as the chain's ninth area location. The Dispatch also reported that the restaurant will sit in a strip mall alongside Dulce Vida Ice Cream and Los Guachos Taqueria and confirmed that no opening date has been set.
The move caps a steady expansion across central Ohio this year. Marion County Now covered OX-B's downtown Marion grand opening in May, and Founders Food Hall currently lists OX-B's as one of its vendors after the chain opened a counter there in June.
