Firefighters were dispatched to the 7018 block of S. Bonsallo Avenue after multiple emergency calls reported a structure fire with heavy smoke and visible flames. Responding units moved quickly to contain the blaze and protect adjacent homes, while residents looked on as engines, trucks, and hose lines packed the residential street.
According to the LAFD, the incident was logged as “Structure Fire 07/20/2026 (INC#1536)” at 7018 S Bonsallo Ave, with first-arriving resources including FS57, Battalion 13, and several engine, rescue, and ladder companies.
