A Thursday afternoon shopping trip turned into a police investigation after a man was stabbed in the arm at a Walmart on Houston’s Northside. One person was detained as officers worked to piece together what led to the confrontation.
According to FOX 26 Houston, police received the call around 2:30 p.m. at the store near Interstate 45 and Crosstimbers Street. Authorities said a female stabbed the male victim in the arm, but the initial report did not identify either person.
Police Have Not Released A Motive
Walmart’s store listing identifies the location as the Houston Crosstimbers Supercenter, a North Freeway store serving the Northside and Northline areas. The retailer’s listing does not provide details about the police response or any temporary changes to store operations.
As of the initial report, police had not released the victim’s condition, a possible motive, the relationship between the two people, or whether charges had been filed. FOX 26’s report said additional details were not immediately available as the investigation continued.
