An 81-year-old man was shoved to the pavement during a confrontation in the Bronx Tuesday evening, leaving him with a head contusion, elbow injuries and hip pain, according to police. Two days later, the NYPD is asking the public to help identify the person involved.
The incident happened at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday during a verbal dispute on East 149th Street, according to a NYPD Crime Stoppers post. Police said the unidentified individual pushed the older man to the ground before fleeing.
Police Seek Help Identifying The Attacker
The victim reportedly suffered a head contusion, bruising and scratches on his elbow, along with pain in his hips. The public bulletin did not identify the person involved, and no arrest was announced.
