A Wednesday morning garage fire on Snowberry Circle sent two Orange County Sheriff's deputies to hospitals and left several others needing medical evaluations, after flames erupted in the garage of an Orlando home. Fire crews managed to corral the blaze before it could push into the rest of the house, keeping the damage contained to the garage area.
The fire was reported around 8:30 a.m. and started in the garage, according to Orange County Fire Rescue, which said crews stopped the flames before they spread into the home. At least one deputy was taken from the scene for treatment, and a second deputy was later transported for smoke inhalation. Three additional people were evaluated on site. The State Fire Marshal's Office has been contacted to investigate what sparked the blaze, ClickOrlando reported.
