Painesville is clearing the calendar next weekend, as the city's long-running Party in the Park returns Friday through Sunday (July 17–19) for three straight days of free live music and family programming in the downtown square. The festival will spread across Painesville Square with multiple stages, food vendors, a kids zone and late-night performances, all designed to spotlight downtown businesses and draw a big summer crowd into the heart of the city.

According to the Painesville Community Improvement Corporation, Party in the Park will feature more than 30 acts across several stages, with performances running from midday into the late evening. The lineup includes tribute and touring acts such as Hello City, Empire Strikes Brass, the Nick Walker Band, the Baldassarre Orchestra and Brent Kirby.
