Plano is lining up another potential headquarters win. Daisy Brand is in line for a city incentive package that would relocate its corporate headquarters to Plano and bring about 120 jobs along with it.
Granite Parkway In The Spotlight
Dallas Business Journal reported that the proposal focuses on 5850 Granite Parkway, an office address in Granite Park. According to Daisy Brand, its corporate office is still listed at 12750 Merit Drive in Dallas, so the potential shift would keep the company in North Texas while nudging its headquarters a few miles north.
Plano’s Incentive Arms Race
The move fits a broader pattern for a city that has shown it is willing to open the checkbook for marquee employers. A February City of Plano memo shows the council approved a $20 million incentive for AT&T Services at 5400 Legacy Drive, where the telecom giant plans a new global headquarters campus and up to 10,000 full-time job equivalents by 2039.
If Daisy Brand gets the green light, the story is less a coast-to-coast corporate escape and more another North Texas headquarters reshuffle with local tax receipts and office space on the line. For Plano, the message is clear: the city wants the companies that still have room to move, and it appears willing to pay to land them.
