
A quiet stretch of West Broward Boulevard turned deadly early Saturday when a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale officers were called to the 3000 block of West Broward Boulevard at about 2:45 a.m. after reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, according to NBC6 South Florida. When officers arrived, they found the rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, police said.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the site and began piecing together what led up to the fatal impact. Investigators remained in the area as they worked to document evidence and reconstruct the crash.
