A 37-year-old man was slashed in the arm during an attempted robbery in Queens Sunday afternoon, and the knife-wielding attacker remains at large. Police say the confrontation began as a verbal dispute before the suspect pulled a blade.
The attack happened around 3:40 p.m. Sunday within the 115th Precinct, according to a wanted bulletin posted by NYPD Crime Stoppers. The unidentified individual allegedly displayed a knife and slashed the victim in his left arm before fleeing.
The suspect reportedly ran north on 111th Street and disappeared. No arrest or suspect identification was announced in the bulletin.
The incident occurred in an area covered by the 115th Precinct, which serves Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and North Corona, according to the NYPD precinct page.

Anyone with information can contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers program anonymously by calling 800-577-TIPS, or 888-57-PISTA for Spanish-language tips. The department says anonymous tips may also be submitted online and could qualify for a reward of up to $3,500 if they lead to the arrest and indictment of a violent felon, according to NYPD Crime Stoppers.
