Qarbon Aerospace is turning its Red Oak headquarters into an even bigger national security hub, planning a 55,000-square-foot classified manufacturing wing at its Texas campus as it chases more sensitive defense work. The new buildout will include a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, or SCIF, and is scheduled to wrap in early 2027.
According to a Business Wire release, the expansion will be constructed to ICD 705 standards and will feature dedicated composites manufacturing, assembly, and administrative areas tailored to classified programs. CEO Michael Canario called the move a long-term goal, saying, “Expanding our classified program capability has been a strategic priority.” The company says design work is finished and permits are already in hand.

The Red Oak campus serves as Qarbon’s headquarters and anchors a network that includes additional facilities in Georgia and Thailand. The firm lists close to two million square feet of global manufacturing capacity, with roughly 772,000 square feet located at the Texas site.
