
A search for a missing Brookford man took a grim turn Monday when human remains were found at a property on 4th Street Place SW, according to police. The discovery came as authorities were looking for 79-year-old Claude Wayne “Doc” Holsclaw.

Investigators located the remains at the 4th Street Place SW property while working a search linked to Holsclaw’s disappearance, as reported by Queen City News. Who Was Reported Missing
Holsclaw, 79, known locally as “Doc,” was reported missing earlier this month. Brookford Police Chief Willie Armstrong said officers have been working around the clock, chasing every credible lead and coordinating with other law enforcement agencies, according to WSOC.

Chief Armstrong thanked community members for their help so far and stressed that “every tip received is being carefully evaluated.” Officials urged anyone with information to contact the Brookford Police Department, WSOC reported.
