A Columbus man has been ordered to serve three to four years in prison for a shooting outside a Reynoldsburg bar that left a 26-year-old man dead. Thirty-three-year-old Rashaun Thorpe received the sentence in Franklin County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty this summer to assault-related charges stemming from the Dec. 17, 2022, incident. The victim, Talando Whitmore, was 26 when he died following the altercation outside the bar.
Thorpe pleaded guilty on June 8 to attempted felonious assault and felonious assault, and Judge Jeff Brown handed down the three-to-four-year prison term, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
