Pressed Juicery has gone quiet at Rosedale Village. The shop at 4800 Burnet Road, once the chain’s lone Austin storefront, has closed its doors, leaving the neighborhood’s juice fans to find their next fix elsewhere while new signs hint that a fresh tenant is on the way.
In a statement to Community Impact, Pressed said it decided to shut down the Rosedale Village location after seeing a clear shift in how customers prefer to buy its products, with more shoppers turning to grocery partners, delivery services and mobile ordering instead of walking into a brick-and-mortar shop. The company also thanked its store leaders and retail team members for their work during the Austin store’s run.
Ben & Jerry's Coming to Rosedale
While the juicers have packed up, the ice cream scoops are lining up. According to Ben & Jerry's, the company has an “Austin - Rosedale Village - Coming Soon” scoop shop listed for the Rosedale Village Shopping Center at 4800 Burnet Rd. The corporate listing lays out a typical menu of frozen favorites but does not yet include an opening date.
Part of a Wider Retail Pullback
The Austin closure is not an isolated move. As reported by the Sacramento Business Journal, Pressed also shut down a Midtown Sacramento location earlier this summer, and retail churn at Ice Blocks highlighted that departure as part of a broader shake-up among quick-service and specialty food operators. Taken together, those moves help explain why some chains are stepping back from smaller storefronts and leaning harder on grocery distribution and delivery channels.
How to Find Pressed Products Now
Pressed Juicery is steering customers toward its other channels, promoting in-store pickup, local delivery and ship-to-home options for its bottled juices, Freezes and wellness shots so fans can still stock up even as individual retail sites go dark. Community Impact also notes that Austin shoppers can still find Pressed products at retailers such as Sprouts Farmers Market, Costco and Target while the Rosedale unit gets repurposed for its next act.
