A man is in critical condition after a Tuesday night shooting on the 5800 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard in southeast Houston, according to police. Officers responded to reports of gunfire, found an adult male wounded, and had him rushed to a hospital while the suspected shooter took off on a scooter. Metro Police and the Pct. 7 constable's office backed up Houston officers as they locked down the area and launched the investigation.
