A 21-year-old Seneca man remains in the Oconee County Detention Center after a Tuesday evening arrest that began with a domestic-disturbance call and ended with a fentanyl trafficking charge, additional drug allegations and a pending bond hearing. Investigators say about 9.3 grams of fentanyl were seized in the case, while deputies also reported finding prescription medication during booking and narcotics in a patrol-car prisoner compartment.
Domestic Call Led To Arrest
According to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, a Uniform Patrol Bureau deputy responded to Gail Court Apartments on Bountyland Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. The deputy placed Tyler Lee Louidor under arrest on a breach-of-peace charge, and arrest warrants were later obtained after consultations with a judge.
Louidor was booked into the detention center at about 10:20 p.m. He is charged with trafficking in fentanyl, two counts of public disorderly conduct, one count of breach of peace and possession of contraband in a detention facility.
More Narcotics Reported After Booking
During booking, a detention deputy found a quantity of prescription medication on Louidor’s person, according to the sheriff’s office. After leaving the detention center, a deputy also found a small clear plastic jar containing narcotics in the prisoner compartment of the patrol vehicle.
The arrest follows another Oconee County fentanyl trafficking case announced in April. In that case, authorities said a traffic stop in Seneca led to the seizure of approximately 4.1 grams of fentanyl and 1.08 grams of methamphetamine from a vehicle, as detailed in the sheriff’s office’s April fentanyl case.
Bond Hearing Remains Pending
Louidor remained jailed Wednesday while awaiting a bond hearing. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office said its investigation is continuing, and the charges are allegations that have not been tested in court.
