Floor & Decor looks to be zeroing in on Porter Ranch Town Center for its next warehouse-format store, with a fresh banner now hanging along Rinaldi Street tipping off locals before the company has said a word about it. The signage is the first visible hint of a lease or buildout at the center, and there is still no public opening date or timeline.
According to What Now Los Angeles, an Instagram user spotted and shared the banner, which points to 19819 Rinaldi St in Northridge as the future home of the store. The outlet reports it has reached out to Floor & Decor for comment.
What Floor & Decor Sells (And Where It Comes From)
Headquartered in Atlanta, Floor & Decor runs hundreds of warehouse-style locations that focus on hard-surface flooring such as tile, wood, stone, vinyl and laminate, plus installation materials, tools and decorative accessories, according to Floor & Decor. The company already operates several stores across Southern California, including Woodland Hills, Oxnard, San Gabriel, West Covina, Downey and Carson, per its Floor & Decor listings.
Where It Would Go
Porter Ranch Town Center stretches along Rinaldi Street and is anchored by a Walmart Supercenter. Property records place the shopping center footprint roughly between 19707 and 19953 Rinaldi St, which lines up with the 19819 Rinaldi St address tied to the new banner, according to PropertyShark.
Why It Matters Locally
If the deal is finalized, a Floor & Decor at Porter Ranch Town Center would give Valley homeowners and contractors a closer option for in-stock hard-surface materials and PRO services, a key piece of the company’s model as described in its investor materials. What Now Los Angeles reports that it is waiting for confirmation from the retailer, and until Floor & Decor or the center’s leasing team goes public with plans, that Rinaldi Street signage remains the strongest clue that a buildout may be on the way.
