Salt Lake City's Twilight Concert Series is clocking back in on Monday, July 13, kicking off its 39th season with a six-show lineup that stretches from Old Crow Medicine Show to The War on Drugs and spotlights headliners like Suki Waterhouse and Freddie Gibbs. This year’s run splits the action between the downtown Gallivan Center and the Civic Center, serving up a mix of indie, hip-hop, Americana, and jam-band nights through the summer and into October.
Lineup and venues
The official schedule from the Salt Lake City Arts Council lists Old Crow Medicine Show on July 13, Freddie Gibbs on July 17, and Suki Waterhouse on July 27 at the Gallivan Center. MUNA and Goose are set for the Civic Center on Aug. 4 and Aug. 29, respectively, with The War on Drugs closing the season on Oct. 1.
Tickets, gates and transit
Organizers say the split-venue setup is very much on purpose. Nic Smith, director of S&S Presents, said the combination of four Gallivan shows and two Civic Center dates is designed to “welcome new audiences” and deepen community connections, while Felicia Baca, executive director of the Salt Lake City Arts Council, said the series helps “bridge differences” and strengthen civic life, as reported by KSL.
Local context
The decision to split shows between Gallivan and Library Square’s Civic Center follows a broader programming shift that began last year to handle larger crowds and a wider variety of acts. Hoodline covered that expansion in 2025, noting the series’s effort to balance intimate downtown amphitheater nights with bigger, festival-style concerts in Library Square, which organizers say opens the program to new audiences.
What to know before you go
Gates and food vendors open at 6:00 p.m. for Gallivan Center events and at 5:00 p.m. for Civic Center shows, and the Arts Council notes that a concert ticket includes free UTA transit on the day of the event. Season and individual tickets are sold through the council’s box-office partner, and the council’s page details accessibility information and rain-or-shine policies for each date, so fans are encouraged to double-check the official schedule before they head out, according to the Salt Lake City Arts Council.
The announcement has been picked up by local outlets, including KUTV and KSL, both of which include schedules and ticket links for each show. For the most up-to-date details on supporting acts, tickets, and any last-minute changes, check KUTV or the Arts Council’s official schedule.
