The LAPD is handling the case as a fatal shooting and is urging anyone with information or cellphone video to speak up. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling LA Regional Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑TIPS (800‑222‑8477) or by sending a web tip through the department’s site, according to LAPD guidance.
Investigators say that even brief cellphone clips or dash‑cam footage could help identify witnesses, spot suspect vehicles or reconstruct what happened in the moments before and after the crash.
