Southwest Las Vegas is getting a new medical hub Thursday, with Intermountain Health opening a three-story clinic designed to put primary and specialty care under one roof. The Badura Clinic will serve adults, seniors, children and cancer patients while adding a new pediatric specialty-care presence to the rapidly growing southwest valley.
Located just south of the 215 near Durango Drive, the 90,000-square-foot facility will offer adult primary care, senior primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, oncology, radiation therapy and infusion services, according to FOX5 Vegas. It is also Intermountain Health’s first-ever construction project in Nevada.
A One-Stop Clinic For Routine And Complex Care
The idea behind Badura is convenience: patients can handle routine visits, specialty appointments and cancer treatment at the same location instead of crossing the valley for each piece of care. When Intermountain announced the project in 2024, the original project plans also called for a linear accelerator, infusion center and healing garden.
The building’s location was selected as the southwest valley continues to grow, according to Intermountain’s 2025 topping-off update. That announcement described the clinic as a way to bring services closer to residents who might otherwise travel across Clark County for similar care.
Shriners Adds Pediatric Orthopedic Care
Badura will also house an independent pediatric orthopedic clinic operated by Shriners Children’s. Under Intermountain’s partnership announcement, the affiliation is intended to expand access to pediatric orthopedic and rehabilitative services in Nevada, with financial assistance available for eligible Shriners patients.
The broader Badura Clinic is scheduled to open Thursday, while Shriners Children’s said in March that it expected to hold a July ribbon-cutting and welcome its first patients in August. The phased opening gives families a new local access point now, with the pediatric specialty operation coming online afterward.
Part Of A Larger Nevada Health-Care Buildout
The clinic arrives as Intermountain Health works on a larger Nevada expansion that includes a planned stand-alone children’s hospital. Intermountain’s expansion plans call for that hospital to break ground later in 2026 and open in 2030, making Badura one of the system’s first major new footholds in southwest Las Vegas.
