Masala Pizza & Bitezz quietly rolled out its first Greater Houston location last Saturday in Katy, sliding South Asian–inspired pizzas, loaded masala fries, wings and burgers into the Katy Freeway corridor. The fast-casual shop says it will offer halal options alongside its fusion comfort food, giving Katy diners another boldly topped, desi-flavored stop along I-10.

The menu leans hard into Indian flavors built on familiar formats. Chicken tikka masala and butter makhani pizzas share space with loaded masala fries, kati rolls, wings and desserts. According to Masala Pizza & Bitezz, the concept blends street-food-style bites with hand-crafted pizzas and offers catering plus app-based ordering for pickup and delivery. The site flags specialty pies such as Paneer Tikka Masala and Butter Makhani as customer favorites.
Order and delivery
The Katy shop is already live on major delivery apps, where menus and pricing are listed for both pickup and home delivery. Platforms such as DoorDash show the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza and Butter Makhani Chicken Pizza among the most-ordered items. That early delivery presence should make it easy for nearby residents to test-drive the menu while the restaurant settles into its regular hours.
Opening, owner and the space
Owner Sree Gurrapu confirmed the Katy debut to Community Impact, which reported the restaurant opened last Saturday at 23523 Katy Freeway, Ste. 300, and will offer halal options. The storefront takes over a strip-center space that previously housed Curry Pizza House before that business closed in April, Community Impact reported. For now, customers can expect a heavy mix of pickup and delivery as the team settles into a groove.
A growing footprint
Masala Pizza & Bitezz has been expanding beyond its original Virginia outpost this year and added a Liberty Hill location in April as part of that growth. The brand’s website lists menus and other locations, according to Masala Pizza & Bitezz, while delivery listings for its South Riding store show the chain operating in multiple states, per a Grubhub listing. Katy’s newcomer joins a small but growing pack of South Asian-fusion pizza concepts carving out space around Greater Houston.
