The Peach Cobbler Factory is setting up shop in Charlotte’s Northcrest retail corridor at 9815 Northlake Centre Parkway, Suite A, with franchisee Rhonda McNutt at the helm. The spot will be the brand’s 13th North Carolina location and another brick in its rapidly expanding Southern dessert empire.
According to RestaurantNews, the Northlake outpost will handle dine-in, takeout, catering and delivery through third-party apps. McNutt is listed as the owner-operator, and the company is clearly using this opening to keep its growth streak in North Carolina rolling.
Where It Will Be
The address lands the shop in the Northcrest Shopping Center next to Northlake Mall, a busy corridor pulling in shoppers from I-485 and W.T. Harris. A leasing flyer from The Providence Group already shows Peach Cobbler Factory on the center’s tenant list, signaling the brand’s bet that heavy retail traffic pairs nicely with grab-and-go sweets.
What They’ll Serve
Per the chain’s locations and menu pages, Peach Cobbler Factory leans hard into warm fruit cobblers and banana puddings, backed up by cinnamon rolls, milkshakes, dessert flights and ice cream. Many items are designed to travel well, a setup the company has leaned into as it chases growth and catering orders.
Part of a Bigger Push
Founded in 2013 and franchising since 2021, Peach Cobbler Factory describes itself as a national brand with more than 135 brick-and-mortar and mobile operations across 26 states, according to RestaurantNews. “We are excited to continue growing throughout North Carolina and thrilled to celebrate another location with Rhonda McNutt and her team,” CEO Greg George said in the announcement.
The company has also been locking in larger development deals, including what it calls its biggest yet: a 15-unit state agreement in Minnesota, per GlobeNewswire.
Charlotte Context
Charlotte is already familiar territory for the brand. Company listings show existing locations at 1055 Metropolitan Ave (Midtown) and 8506 S Tryon St, among others, with Northlake set to join that cluster, according to the Peach Cobbler Factory locations map. That kind of density helps feed delivery and catering coverage across more neighborhoods and gives local franchisees multiple ways to reach customers.
The company has not named an official opening date in its announcement. Typically, franchisees share soft-opening details and promos closer to launch, so locals keeping tabs on the chain’s locations page or Northcrest’s leasing notices will be first in line when the cobbler ovens fire up.
