An adult man is fighting for his life after a driver struck him in northeast Tacoma last Monday, according to police. Officers rushed to the scene, gave emergency aid on the street, and then handed off care to medics, who took the man to a nearby hospital, where he remained in critical condition.
In a social media post, the Tacoma Police Department said officers responded to the 400 block of East 75th Street and found an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Officers began lifesaving efforts until Tacoma Fire Department crews arrived, and the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Investigation Underway
The same Tacoma Police Department update said that “detectives are investigating a homicide” in connection with the case. Officials have not released the man’s name, nor have they shared any information about a suspect or possible arrests.
