A family disturbance call at a west Houston apartment complex turned into a shooting involving deputies late Wednesday, after a male teen reportedly fired shots at Harris County Sheriff's Office personnel. No deputies were reported injured, and the teen was taken into custody.
In a late-Wednesday update, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies were responding to a weapon-related family disturbance when the teen, possibly 17, opened fire. Gonzalez said the suspect was subsequently taken into custody and that no deputies suffered reported injuries.
