Hospital staff treated the teen for injuries described as non-life-threatening, and he remained there for further evaluation while Southwest District detectives opened an investigation.
What Police Say
According to WBFF/FOX45, officers responded around 8:38 p.m. Tuesday to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2100 block of Vine Street and found evidence of a shooting. A short time later, hospital staff notified officers that a gunshot victim had just walked in, and police observed the 15-year-old being treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
