Daily Coffee, a fast-growing Dallas coffee concept, is staking out a new flagship in West Village late next month. The shop is headed for One West Village and is set to bring a larger footprint, more seating, and easier street parking than the brand’s smaller Uptown walk-up windows. For residents and office workers along McKinney Avenue, this will be the most substantial local outpost Daily Coffee has rolled out so far.
According to CultureMap Dallas, the West Village café is expected to debut in late August at 2801 N. Central Expy inside the One West Village office tower. The outlet reports this will be the brand’s third location, following openings at 3232 McKinney Ave in March and at 1717 McKinney Ave in April, and that the West Village shop will serve as Daily Coffee’s flagship, with expanded seating and ample street parking.
Daily Coffee’s menu leans on classics like drip coffee, espresso, cortados and lattes, while also featuring signature drinks such as the Humpday Latte and Strawberry Matcha. The ordering page lists pastries, bagels and grab-and-go items at the counter, according to Toast.
Who is behind the shop
Daily Coffee is run by partners Matt Waldon, Jonah Gregory and Elijah Freeney. The team has grown the brand from small Uptown windows into custom-branded coffee programs for office buildings. The partners also operate a Fort Worth site under the name Executive Perk and are launching a Daily Club subscription that includes a daily coffee and discounts for under $70 a month. They say they prioritize hiring baristas with hospitality backgrounds, according to CultureMap Dallas.
Why One West Village
The West Village tower at 2801 North Central was designed with ground-floor retail, tenant amenities and sizeable parking, features that make it a fit for a flagship café. The building brochure for 2801 North Central highlights large ground-floor amenity space, a tenant lounge and transit access to DART and the McKinney Avenue trolley, which should help pull in both office workers and neighborhood foot traffic, according to the One West Village brochure.
Daily Coffee’s West Village flagship is slated to start pouring in late August, and the partners say they expect the space to function as a neighborhood coffee bar for Uptown and an amenity for the building’s tenants. Look for a firm opening date and hours once the café posts details on its own channels; we will update when that happens.
