A sedan slammed into a gas pump in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane on Wednesday night, sending the driver and her male passenger to the hospital. Authorities are still working to determine why the woman behind the wheel lost control.
The crash happened along Ogontz Avenue, according to 6abc Philadelphia. Both occupants were taken to Jefferson Einstein Hospital for treatment, though the initial report did not provide details about the severity of their injuries.
Crash Comes As Philadelphia Tracks Ongoing Traffic Safety Concerns
The collision comes as Philadelphia continues its push to reduce serious crashes and traffic deaths.
