A woman was shot while sitting in her car in Wilkinsburg on Saturday and taken to an area hospital, as Allegheny County Homicide Unit detectives converged on the scene and placed one person in custody, police said.
The gunfire broke out near the intersection of McNary Boulevard and Paden Street, where authorities say the woman was hit while still inside her vehicle. One suspect was taken into custody and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to WTAE.
