Fifty creators and artisan vendors will pack the Casselberry Arts Center this Friday evening as the Bazaar Florida Tour rolls into town with DJ sets, hands-on workshops and a lineup of visual art shows. The free event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 137 Quail Pond Circle, filling both the 3,000-square-foot gallery and the surrounding outdoor space with makers, food trucks and entertainment.
The touring market is produced by Bazaar47, the Gainesville-based organization formerly known as How Bazar, which built its reputation downtown as a retail shop, event venue and community third space for artists before expanding into a full statewide tour. Event producer Laila Fakhoury co-curates and produces the Bazaar Florida Tour alongside Jahi Khalfani, to give local Florida artists an experimental platform to collaborate and test new creative concepts. As reported by the Orlando Sentinel, Fakhoury said the event aims to provide a platform that everyone can join.
Inside the Casselberry Arts Center gallery, 13 artisan and craft vendors will set up alongside three visual art shows curated by Damian Jimenez-Lazarte, Teagan Carregal and Alexis Collum. Chkn + Beer will showcase high-energy DJ sets throughout the night, and the Sentinel's reporting notes that P1K Music will collaborate with Meechiexx and Jonel on an interactive audiovisual experience.
What's Happening Outside the Gallery
The market spills outward into an outdoor space packed with 35 additional artisan and craft vendors plus five food vendors, according to the same report. Attendees can expect a bar, the CITRUSMRKET tent and the Diaspora Photographic Gallery, along with a community rug demonstration, domino tables and a snail mail club. Skate ramps, film screenings and caricature artists round out the outdoor offerings, and a vinyl-record DJ booth keeps the music going between sets.
Central Florida creative markets Off the Rack Market and CITRUSMRKET are among the regional partner vendors featured at the Casselberry stop, per Gotta Go Orlando. The night also includes several hands-on workshops: sewing tutorials from Sonder Sewing, art collaging with the Orlando Collage Club, press-on nail design from Fabiola Cristal and rug tufting led by Rugged Perspective. The Sentinel describes the broader workshop lineup as offering crafts, collage, sewing and press-on-nail sessions for attendees of all skill levels.
A Pandemic-Era Idea Turned Statewide Tour
The Bazaar Florida Tour started as a forum for artists to sell their work and bring the community together during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Sentinel's reporting. It has since grown considerably: the Bazaar47 market in Gainesville now includes more than 100 vendors, food trucks, DJs and thousands of attendees, and Bazaar47 maintains a permanent home and venue in that city. Last year's Bazaar Florida Tour drew roughly 700 attendees, and organizers expect an even bigger turnout this time around.
Justin Luper, the City of Casselberry's arts and marketing supervisor, said the event brings diverse communities and creatives together. Casselberry's arts center opened in January 2024 as a 3,000-square-foot venue meant to expand the city's public arts and cultural programming, according to Orlando Weekly. Beyond Friday's pop-up market, the center's 2026 gallery calendar also includes exhibitions such as Unreality of the Present, the UCF MFA Exhibition, Experience Contemporary and Uncertain Figures, according to the City of Casselberry.
Where the Tour Goes Next
After Casselberry, the statewide tour is scheduled to travel to Jacksonville, Broward County and the Gulf Coast before returning to Gainesville for a December finale, according to Gotta Go Orlando. The tour's stated 2026 itinerary also includes stops in Orlando, Miami and Tampa. In Tampa, market season overlaps with another street-culture spectacle: the 2026 Red Bull Dance Your Style USA National Final is set for September 19 at the Tampa Convention Center, where 16 street dancers will face off in 1v1 freestyle battles for a shot at the World Final in Zurich, Switzerland, per Eventbrite.
Friday's Casselberry market is free to attend, and organizers are encouraging online RSVPs ahead of time. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor spaces, giving families another reason to make a night of the vendors, workshops and DJ sets.
Casselberry's growing cultural footprint comes as the surrounding commercial corridor sees fresh investment. In April, Present Equity Advisors acquired the nearby Casselberry Square retail center for nearly $14 million, with plans for phased capital upgrades to the 88,846-square-foot property along State Road 436, according to Hoodline's earlier reporting.
