Any rain should taper off Saturday night as drier air moves in, setting up a sunny Sunday with a high near 102 and a heat index around 105. Monday could be even hotter, reaching about 103 degrees, before highs settle near 101 to 102 through Wednesday.
Mostly sunny and hot conditions continue Thursday and Friday, with highs near 99 and overnight lows generally in the upper 70s. The post-front air may feel less muggy at first, but the temperatures will still make afternoon outdoor plans a serious hydration project.
