Eleven years after Martise Williams disappeared, Baltimore County police are still asking for help finding the missing Baltimore man and piecing together what happened after he left home. The renewed appeal comes on the anniversary of the day Williams was last seen.
Williams was 28 when he was last seen on August 4, 2015, leaving Gwynn Oak Avenue in Baltimore City to meet someone in the Randallstown area, according to Fox45 News. He has not been seen since.
Earlier reporting by CBS Baltimore said Williams’ roommate contacted his mother after no one had heard from him, and his silver Buick Verano was found abandoned in west Baltimore six days after he vanished. Police have not publicly announced a resolution in the case.

Police describe Williams as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who locates him should call 911 or Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020, Fox45 News reported.
His Mother Says The Uncertainty Still Hurts
In a message shared by the department, Shawn West said her family is devastated and that the uncertainty has affected them most. “Our family is devastated,” West said, describing motherhood as the pride and joy of her life, according to Fox45 News.
CBS Baltimore previously reported that investigators believe tips remain crucial in the case. Anyone who remembers seeing Williams, his vehicle or anything unusual around the time of his disappearance is encouraged to contact police.
