Monday looks hotter, with a high near 96 and heat-index values reaching around 100. A chance of showers and thunderstorms develops after about 2 p.m., with gusty winds, lightning and brief heavy rain possible if storms form. The forecast calls for a 30% rain chance during the day and again Monday night.
Storm Chances Build After Sunday
Tuesday brings the biggest washout risk of the week so far, with showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m. and a 70% chance of rain. Wednesday stays unsettled, with a high near 89 and a 50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, while Thursday brings another round of possible storms.
Storm chances continue into Friday, but temperatures should begin to retreat, with a high near 85. By Saturday, Baltimore could see mostly sunny skies and a high around 84, offering a welcome break after several hot and stormy days.
