San Antonio is about to get a very official excuse to brag. The San Antonio Current’s annual Best of San Antonio party returns next Wednesday at Stable Hall, bringing together the businesses, artists, restaurants and personalities chosen by local readers.
The party runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and celebrates winners, finalists and nominees from the 2026 readers poll, according to the San Antonio Current. Tickets cost $55 and include admission, entertainment, food, Voodoo Ranger beer, plus cocktail and mocktail samples.
Food, Blues And DJ Sets At Stable Hall
The evening’s food lineup includes local favorites such as Ardere, Backyard on Broadway, Down on Grayson, Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken and Magnolia Pancake Haus. The event listing also promises full-size beverages for purchase, so guests can upgrade from samples if the party’s tiny cups start feeling personally insulting.
San Antonio native singer-songwriter Nicky Diamonds will perform blues and roots music, while DJ Catwalk and additional guest DJs handle the dance-floor duties. The celebration is being held at Stable Hall, the Pearl venue known for its live-music programming.
The party is designed as a real-world version of the Current’s annual guide, which spans food and drink, people, shopping, around town, services and nightlife. The Best of San Antonio 2026 issue frames the poll as a snapshot of the independent businesses and creative personalities shaping the city right now.
Businesses and individuals who placed in the top three of any category can pick up an official commemorative lanyard and Best of San Antonio window cling at the event, the Current reports. Stable Hall is located at 307 Pearl Parkway, and full-size drinks are not included with the ticket price.
