The latest forecast from the National Weather Service calls for mostly cloudy skies and east winds around 8 mph. Rain chances remain low during the day, but no major warmup is expected.

Showers could arrive between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, followed by a chance of thunderstorms from roughly 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Showers and storms are then likely into the overnight hours, with patchy fog and rainfall totals of about a quarter- to half-inch possible.
Sunday brings more unsettled weather, with patchy fog and showers early, additional thunderstorms possible through the afternoon, and a high near 80 degrees. The forecast carries a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms Sunday into Sunday evening, meaning a storm could briefly produce a strong wind burst even though widespread severe weather is not expected.

Any flooding is expected to remain minor and mostly limited to urban, low-lying or poorly drained areas, but quick downpours could still make streets and sidewalks messy. Beachgoers face a low rip-current risk Saturday, rising to moderate Sunday as southerly winds increase.

Monday should turn mostly sunny with a high near 78, although a stray shower or thunderstorm remains possible after 2 p.m. The forecast becomes mainly dry Monday night through Wednesday, with sunny skies Tuesday and Wednesday highs near 78 and 82.
Another unsettled stretch may return late next week. Thursday brings a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 81, followed by additional storm chances Thursday night and Friday, when temperatures could reach about 82.
