Nearly four months after two people allegedly walked out of a Polaris Parkway business with clothing, Columbus police are asking the public to help identify them. The April theft remains unresolved, with surveillance images now serving as the main clue.
According to MyFox 28, the suspects entered a business in the 1200 block of Polaris Parkway on April 13 and were caught on video selecting several clothing items. Police say the pair then left the store without attempting to pay.
Anyone who can identify either suspect is asked to contact Columbus police detectives at 614-645-1429. The report did not name the business, disclose the value of the merchandise or say whether the clothing has been recovered.
Police Have Made Similar Polaris Parkway Appeals
The latest request comes after other theft investigations along the busy retail corridor. A previous Polaris appeal involved multiple people accused of taking unpaid items from a store in the 1300 block, while a separate Columbus police release described a jewelry grab-and-run in the 1500 block.
Those earlier cases were separate from the April clothing theft. For the current investigation, police are relying on anyone who recognizes the people shown in the surveillance images to help move the case forward.
