A 39-year-old woman was injured after three armed suspects forced their way into a Highbridge residence, restrained her with duct tape and escaped with roughly $343,000 in valuables, police say. The violent break-in unfolded Thursday night, and the NYPD is asking the public to help identify the trio.
According to News 12 Bronx, the suspects entered a home near West 168th Street and Ogden Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Police say they were armed with knives and a firearm, assaulted the woman, removed her clothing, blindfolded her and bound her hands and feet with duct tape.
Police Say Trio Took Jewelry, Cash And More
The suspects allegedly took approximately $343,000 worth of jewelry, cash, perfumes and a cellphone before fleeing the residence. The woman suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
