Halloween is arriving early in Corona del Mar, where Roger’s Gardens is turning its annual seasonal shopping experience into a Venetian fever dream — and the admission price is still zero. The garden center says its 2026 Halloween boutique, Moonlight Masquerade, opens Aug. 28 with gilded masks, candlelight and enough theatrical décor to make a regular porch pumpkin feel underdressed.
The new theme was revealed Monday by NBC Los Angeles, which reported that the daytime attraction will be free to enter. The boutique opens at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Corona del Mar garden center and will be on view for several weeks.
Venetian Masks And Candlelight Set The 2026 Theme
According to Roger’s Gardens, Moonlight Masquerade will draw on the romance of Venice after dark, with visitors entering beneath a Bridge of Sighs and moving into a candlelit Palazzo of Whispers. The multi-room experience is expected to feature gilded masks, original designs, seasonal collections, tabletop pieces, gifts, collectibles and other hauntingly elegant décor.
The annual Halloween boutique has become one of the garden center’s signature seasonal productions, with past themes including Universal Monsters, witches and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, NBC Los Angeles noted. Opening weekend typically brings lines, but no reservation is required — a useful detail for anyone who prefers their Halloween plans spontaneous and their haunted shopping free.
