The city sees between 50,000 and 55,000 total motor vehicle collisions each year, roughly 95 to 96 crashes per day, according to Shamieh Law. In 2023 alone, Dallas traffic collisions resulted in 539 deaths, 2,884 serious injuries, and 16,675 minor injuries, with drivers and passengers between ages 25 and 34 injured most frequently, the same source notes.
