A domestic argument in Satsuma turned deadly Saturday when a 19-year-old man allegedly shot both of his parents inside their home. Cecilia Servin, 47, died at the scene, while Miguel Servin, 51, later died at a hospital, according to investigators.
According to a report by News4JAX, deputies responded to the Musket Drive residence after receiving a report of gunshots. They took Uyleses Servin into custody, and detectives continued examining the property Monday.
As detailed in the initial report, Servin is facing two counts of homicide along with charges alleging he fired into a building or vehicle, committed aggravated assault and neglected a child. He was transported to the Putnam County Jail and held without bond.
Incident reports released Monday add a disturbing detail to the shooting. According to News4JAX, witnesses told investigators Cecilia Servin pleaded, “Don’t do it,” before her son fired a shot that struck her in the head.
The reports say Servin then picked up a 2-year-old child and exited the home while still holding the handgun. His sister and uncle reportedly feared for their lives, while neighbors described repeated disturbances at the property and said large numbers of people and children were often present.

The earlier report said the charges include two counts of homicide, two counts of firing into a building or vehicle, three counts of aggravated assault and one count of child neglect. The sheriff’s office has not announced a motive, and the case remains under investigation; Servin is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
A bullet hole was visible near the home’s front door as detectives worked the scene, and deputies said they could not comment on who lived at the property while the investigation continued. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details about the family or the child.
