
Police in Eustis are searching for Shakoi Donovan after identifying him as the suspect in an early Saturday incident involving an alleged attempt to kill an officer. The department says Donovan is wanted on an active warrant and should be considered dangerous.
The incident happened at 2:47 a.m. Saturday, according to WKMG News 6, which reported that Donovan faces charges including attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and fleeing to elude. Police have not publicly described the encounter in detail or said whether the officer was injured.
Police Warn Public Not To Approach
Officers believe Donovan may be driving a gray 2006 Infiniti with Florida license plate BT12VE. Anyone who spots him or the vehicle is being told not to approach and instead contact law enforcement.
