Five Finger Death Punch rolls into Pine Knob Music Theatre next Sunday, riding a 20th-anniversary tour, a brand-new album, and a fresh chart record that extends their reign atop rock radio. The Las Vegas band, co-headlining with outlaw country artist Cody Jinks and opening act Eva Under Fire, takes the Independence Township stage at 6:45 p.m., with doors at the venue located at 33 Bob Seger Drive.
The Clarkston stop is one leg of a 48-city North American run billed as the 20th Anniversary World Tour, produced by Live Nation, according to PR Newswire. The trek runs through late October before the band shifts to European arenas in 2027. Founded in Las Vegas in 2005 by Zoltan Bathory, who is now 48, the group released its debut album in 2007 and has spent the two decades since building one of hard rock's most consistent chart runs, as The Oakland Press reports.
That consistency got another boost last month. Five Finger Death Punch landed its 18th No. 1 single on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Eye of the Storm,” extending the band's own record for the most consecutive chart-toppers in the survey's 45-year history, per Blabbermouth. The milestone updates a tally cited in the band's Oakland Press profile crediting the group with 13 No. 1 hits and 30 top-10 entries on Billboard's rock songs chart, underscoring how quickly the band keeps adding to its own record book.
A 10th Album Built Around Two Decades of Songs
“Eye of the Storm” serves as the lead single from Five Finger Death Punch's 10th studio album, Legacy, which arrived digitally on July 31, 2026, with physical CD, vinyl, and cassette formats set for release next month. Bathory told The Oakland Press the band named the record Legacy simply because it marks their 10th album, adding that it represents both the band's history and its future direction. He was also careful to note that the album is not a signal that the band is winding down.
The band wrote roughly 30 songs during a couple of years of work before narrowing the collection to the 10 tracks that made the final record, according to the same Oakland Press account. Producer Drew Fulk, who co-wrote six of the album's 10 songs, worked on Legacy alongside a band that spent years earlier in its career collaborating with producer Kevin Churko through 2009. Fulk's other production and writing credits span Disturbed, Twenty One Pilots, Lil Wayne, I Prevail, We Came As Romans, and Pop Evil.
Five Finger Death Punch has notched four platinum-certified albums and five gold-certified albums across its catalog, per the Oakland Press report. Last year also saw the release of “The End,” a collaboration the band recorded with Japanese metal act Babymetal.
Outlaw Country and Detroit Rock Round Out the Bill
Direct support act Cody Jinks brings a different flavor to the lineup entirely. Jinks, who began his career fronting a thrash metal band in Texas before shifting into independent outlaw country, released an expanded digital deluxe edition of his 11th studio album, In My Blood, in July 2026, marking one year since the record's original release, according to MusicRow.
Opening the night is Eva Under Fire, a Detroit-based hard rock quintet formed in 2015 and fronted by vocalist Amanda “Eva Marie” Lyberg, who is also a licensed therapist. The band released its third studio album, Villainous, in July 2026, a record that features a title-track guest appearance from In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink, as Highwire Daze reports. Their inclusion gives the show a homegrown Metro Detroit presence alongside the touring headliners.
A Familiar Stage With a Long History
Pine Knob Music Theatre has a total capacity of 15,040, split between 6,968 covered pavilion seats and 8,072 open lawn seats, according to Wikipedia. The venue first opened on June 25, 1972, and officially restored its original Pine Knob name in January 2022 after spending two decades operating as DTE Energy Music Theatre, a change that coincided with the venue's 50th anniversary season, per VenuesNow.
The amphitheater is operated by 313 Presents, a joint venture formed in 2017 between Ilitch Sports & Entertainment and Pistons Sports & Entertainment, and this show is presented by corporate partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health, and Ally Financial. 313 Presents also handles bookings for Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and the Fox Theatre, giving the company a wide footprint across Detroit's live entertainment scene.
Sunday's concert marks a return engagement for Five Finger Death Punch, which last played Pine Knob on August 7, 2024, co-headlining with Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail. The band also performed at the venue in October 2022 alongside Megadeth, cementing a recurring booking relationship that continues with this anniversary stop.
Beyond the music, Five Finger Death Punch has donated more than $1 million to veteran, first-responder, and youth homelessness charities, earning the Soldier Appreciation Award from the Association of the United States Army — an honor previously given to only one other musical act, Elvis Presley, according to the band's Spotify artist page.
