Garden & Gun Brings Smoky Mountain Feast to Hotel Hartness in Greenville

Hotel Hartness in Greenville will welcome Garden & Gun's fifth annual Taste of Tennessee dinner on September 10 at 6 p.m., bringing East Tennessee's culinary traditions to Patterson Kitchen + Bar for a showcase presented by Visit Sevierville.

Chef David Rule co-owns The Appalachian in historic downtown Sevierville, where he previously worked at high-profile East Tennessee kitchens including Blackberry Farm, Dancing Bear Lodge, and Walnut Kitchen in Maryville before opening his own restaurant in January 2021, per Bear Tracts Vacation Cabins. The Appalachian centers its kitchen on a large wood-burning hearth that infuses smoky regional flavors into contemporary Appalachian dishes made with locally farmed ingredients, according to The Appalachian.
