San Antonio’s ghost scene is getting a full weekend of its own this fall, when Texas Paranormal Fest takes over one of the city’s most storied haunted properties. The event promises a mix of paranormal personalities, spooky shopping, live experiences and enough unexplained activity to keep the Halloween season busy well before October.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at Victoria’s Black Swan Inn, with separate VIP programming on September 18 and 20. Organizers say the longtime San Antonio Paranormal Fest is becoming Texas Paranormal Fest, expanding its identity to spotlight paranormal enthusiasts and creators from across the Lone Star State, according to Curious Twins Paranormal.
The main event runs from 3 to 11 p.m., with adult admission priced at $45 in advance and youth tickets available for $15. CultureMap San Antonio lists the festival as a gathering for speakers, readers, vendors, paranormal investigators, artists and curious minds from around Texas.
A New Spirit Parlor Joins The Haunted Lineup
New for 2026 is the Spirit Parlor, an immersive experience inside the historic mansion. The organizers say guests can bring photographs, heirlooms and other cherished items while exploring spirit-communication traditions, paranormal equipment, interactive displays and themed photo opportunities, per the festival website.
Beyond the Spirit Parlor, the schedule includes expert panels, live gallery readings, psychics and mediums, paranormal investigation teams, podcasters, live music and tours of the property. The event’s market is expected to feature more than 50 regional and artisan vendors, along with oddities, crystals, herbs, local food trucks and complimentary adult beverages for guests 21 and older.
VIP packages add a dinner and séance, an overnight-style investigation of the property and a three-day pass. One add-on sends attendees by chartered bus to Yorktown Memorial Hospital for a guided tour, ghost-hunting equipment and a séance in the hospital chapel.
Why The Black Swan Inn Fits The Festival
Victoria’s Black Swan Inn was built in 1867 on the historic site of the 1842 Battle of Salado, and the property was designated a State of Texas historic site in 1936. The venue’s own history page describes reported ghost sightings, unexplained sounds and paranormal investigations conducted there over the years.
The festival will be primarily outdoors and includes free parking, while event details remain subject to change because of weather or other concerns. For San Antonio fans who like their fall entertainment with a side of séances, the city’s haunted season now has a September kickoff.
