Grand Prairie is about to get opening-night bragging rights when the Metaphor: ReFantazio Orchestra Concert lands in North Texas this fall. The Texas Trust CU Theatre will host the tour’s first U.S. performance on Friday, October 9, with a full orchestra and choir performing the game’s score as synchronized cutscenes and gameplay play above the stage.
The performance launches the concert’s first-ever world tour, spanning three continents, six countries and eight cities, according to the official tour site. After Grand Prairie, the production heads to Chicago on October 11 and Los Angeles on October 13 before continuing overseas.
CultureMap Dallas lists ticket prices at $77 to $188 for the Grand Prairie date. The event is scheduled for 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m., according to AXS.
What North Texas Fans Need To Know
Metaphor: ReFantazio is the fantasy role-playing game created by the team behind Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5. The official ATLUS game site identifies Shoji Meguro as the composer and dates the game’s original release to October 11, 2024.
That gives the Grand Prairie concert a particularly fitting launch date: it arrives almost exactly two years after the game debuted. The production is designed as a multimedia show rather than a standard soundtrack performance, pairing Meguro’s music with on-screen moments from the game.
SOHO Live, the Tokyo-based producer behind the tour, says the 2026-27 production was created with ATLUS and SEGA and will bring Meguro’s music to audiences around the world. Event listings warn that schedules can change because of weather or other concerns, so fans should check with the venue or organizers before heading out.
