Calm wind is expected to become east-northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday night may see another round of MVFR to IFR stratus.
Mountain Showers Stay Mostly North

People planning outdoor work or activities should build in shade and water breaks, especially during the afternoon. There are no watches, warnings or advisories listed for the area at this time, but the heat may become a serious concern even without an official alert.

Friday brings a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, followed by a 30% chance Saturday. Saturday’s high should reach about 85 degrees, with overnight lows around 70 or 71 degrees.
