Greenville coffee fans have one very early reason to set an alarm Tuesday: a new Dunkin is opening on North Pleasantburg Drive, and the first 100 Rewards members in line can score 100 consecutive days of free coffee.

The restaurant at 943 N. Pleasantburg Drive will begin serving customers at 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Greenville News. The 2,197-square-foot location is expected to employ 30 crew members and will become Bluemont Group’s seventh Dunkin’ in the area.

The giveaway is limited to the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members who are in line inside the restaurant. The prize covers one medium hot or iced coffee each day for 100 consecutive days, redeemed through the Dunkin’ app after winners enter a promotion code, as detailed by the Greenville News.

What Greenville Customers Should Know Before Opening

The free-coffee offer does not include cold brew, nitro cold brew or espresso beverages. Dunkin’ Rewards membership is available through the chain’s app or Rewards website, so late-arriving caffeine seekers may want to get that part squared away before heading out.

Dunkin’s official Greenville location directory lists the North Pleasantburg restaurant as coming soon alongside six existing Greenville locations. Bluemont Group, the franchise operator, says on its website that it runs more than 90 Dunkin’ stores across seven states and intends to keep expanding its Upstate presence.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation's Greenville County Average Daily Traffic listing, the segment from SC 291 (N PLEASANTBURG DR) to S- 94 (E NORTH ST) recorded 4200 vehicles in 2024. The South Carolina Department of Transportation's listing reports 3400 vehicles for that same North Pleasantburg Drive segment in 2023.

The first-100 giveaway is a familiar grand-opening tactic for the chain. Dunkin’ used the same 100-day coffee promotion for the first 100 guests at its 4,000th NextGen restaurant, according to the company’s official announcement.

The new Greenville restaurant will operate from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The coffee may be free for the winners, but sleeping in probably will not be.
