An unidentified man is wanted after police say he forced his way into a residential building in Harlem, broke the front-door lock and stole a package from the lobby.
The burglary happened around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, July 18, near West 130th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard, according to NYPD Crime Stoppers. The suspect fled on foot, and the department posted the appeal Monday as investigators sought help identifying him.
Police Say Suspect Broke Into Residential Building
The alert describes the man as an unidentified male and says he entered by breaking the building's front-door lock. Police did not release details about the package's contents, the value of the property or whether anyone was inside when the break-in occurred.

Anyone with information can call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), submit a tip online or send a direct message to @NYPDTips. The NYPD Crime Stoppers program says anonymous information leading to an arrest and indictment may qualify for a reward of up to $3,500.
